About

Ok you are in about.

The blog will contain my daily drawings and perhaps a few words (related to the drawing or art in general).  If I’d give it a video game rating, I would say T for Teen, but that’s debatable.

As for me I’m just a person who happens to enjoy art, even if I didn’t do too hot in art classes (too sleepy).  Maybe drawing everyday will unlock a special power and I’ll change the world.

On to my username, wolfeditor.  Where’d it come from?  Back when we first got the internet (AOL was new) I had typical dumb usernames that vaguely referenced my name.  I wanted a change right around when I discovered hotmail.

I was playing wolfenstein 3d a ton (the shareware) and happened to find mapedit and wolfedit.  Wolfedit was the most fun I’d ever had.  Ok so most of my creations were the enemies dying more gruesomely, but it was a tangible change I could see in game.

So I tried Wolfmaker at first, no go, and then Wolfeditor.  Got that, and it has been my username ever since.

Oh yeah, and every image has that text that appears when you hover over it a bit (least it’s supposed to), so check it out!

I can’t say I’d want to make enemy deaths more disgusting or bloody…but I can relate to the Wolfenstein fascination (though I only got to play a brief demo before Duke Nukem stole my interest. I like the idea of text appearing over the image when you hover…though I am not sure how you create that. Can you craft “easter eggs” too? Ever seen the Homestarrunner website?
